Role-Based Access

The Kodex controller provides different access levels for users based on their roles. This enables you to collaboratively configure, audit and manage your privacy engineering architecture:

• Data scientists can view transformation configurations and e.g. request access to
• Data protection officers (DPOs) or Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) can audit, analyze, approve or decline data stream configurations.
• Data engineers can connect data services to the system and define transformations.

Additional roles and access levels can be created on the fly using a fine-grained permission system that can be applied to every single entity modeled by Kodex (data services, sources, destinations, streams, configurations and actions), allowing you to give people access to the exactly the information and rights they require in order to fulfill their professional function.
